Grant Garabedian is one of four GIA Graduate Gemologists in his family. His credits also include certifications as an Accredited Jewelry Professional, Diamond Expert and Colored Stone Expert. Working under the guidance of his dad, Art Garabedian, Grant's on-air debut at DSN was at the young age of only 14! Working with Rex Bernard while selling a 100 ct smoky quartz crystal, is one of his all time fondest DSN memories to date.

Grant's gemstone-related travels include a short summer spent in China, working in a gemstone cutting factory, as well as a visit to India where he enjoyed leisure time with renowned colored-stone colleagues.

Grant can often be heard telling his customers about the "glowstick" in the Burma ruby, as this is one of his favorite rocks!
